Postmark: 25 years of partnership of Dresden & Hamburg

A registered cover sent by my German friend, Mr. Wolfgang Beyer with special postmark issued by Deutsche Post to commemorate 25 years of cooperation/partnership between two German cities, Dresden (the capital city of the Free State of Saxony in Germany. It is situated in a valley on the River Elbe, near the Czech border) and Hamburg (officially Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, is the second largest city in Germany, the thirteenth largest German state, and the sixth largest city in the European Union).

The postmark depicts a steamer ferry and the stamp on right side of envelope is issued in 2011 for 175th Anniv. of Saxon Steamship Company, which was already discussed here in my blog. Click here to read the earlier post.
